Matt Radio Slave is to present the debut album from his new collaborative artist project this autumn. Rekids will release The Machine's 'RedHead' longplayer in November 2010. Anticipation has been building since The Machine's 'Fuse' single suddenly appeared on the Innervisions label last summer but Matt has kept the full details of his new moniker under wraps until now. The Machine project will bring together music, art and film. Australian pop artist and clothing designer Misha Holenbach from Perks And Mini has created an image for each track of the album, and these will be shown in special The Machine gallery events -- details to be announced soon. In addition esteemed underground film makers Jigoku are currently completing a special short film inspired by the album. This is the first edit of the video for one of the tracks. The Machine album will be released on Rekids, while these collaborative elements will be the responsibility of Pyramids Of Mars, a new offshoot imprint. This offshoot of the reknowned Rekids label will focus on multi-media and art based projects (including books, toys and films), allowing Rekids to focus purely on audio; single and album releases from artists such as Radio Slave, Nina Kraviz and Mr G.
